Q&A

  • Q: What made you want to become a recording artist?
  • A: My parents and everyone around me believed in me and knew I had a gift for music. They told me I was naturally talented. I didn’t want to waste that talent, so i used it.

  • Q: When and where were you born?
  • A: I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada November 8th 2005.

  • Q: How does being autistic affect you in the music industry?
  • A: To be honest right now it doesn’t. The more I grew the more I realized I’m just a powerful human being who overcame challenging circumstances. I’m now able to express myself. By expressing myself I can inspire others.

  • Q: How old were you when you first started doing music?
  • A: My parents started my artist development at the age of 8. I took my very first piano lessons at The Lawrencville-Suwannee School of Music.

  • Q: What strengths do you have that make you a great artist?
  • A: I be myself ! Being who I am makes me unique and different. I’m an artist with a positive message who will rock the crowd. I use my voice, piano skills and song writing ability to create new music. They don’t call me the melody slayer for no reason!

  • Q: What advice do you have for autistic individuals who are struggling to find their purpose?
  • A: My advice would be to do what you do best. To do what makes you happy. Once you narrow down the things you like to do, ask your family or friends to help. Ask questions like how can I turn the things I like to do into a successful career? Doing what feels natural to you is your gut’s way of guiding you towards your purpose. Trust your gut!

  • Q: What advice would you have for parents of autistic children trying to pursue their dreams?
  • A: If your autistic child is trying to pursue their dreams be very supportive. Rather your child is verbal or non-verbal, it’s important to create a vision board together. Help them out along their journey. Most importantly teach them to never give up.

  • Q: Which instruments do you play?
  • A: I play the piano and I love it.

  • Q: Who is currently your support team musically?
  • A: My support team is my Mom and Dad. They are like the best people you can have on your team. They are very supportive. They help me in so many ways with my music. My mom is a singer/songwriter and my dad is a music engineer/songwriter so basically I’m living the dream.

  • Q: Can you name your talents in the entertainment industry?
  • A: I’m a singer, pianist, composer, songwriter, dancer, actress and a comedian.

  • Q: What is your creative process like?
  • A: When I’m writing to a track I like to start with the melody. I think the melody is the part that makes you want to sing along. Then I freestyle lyrics until the concept of the song is visualized. Once I know what I want the message to be, I start writing the song. I like to make sure the song has a catchy hook. If I’m composing I like to have the lyrics and melody already written and I freestyle the piano notes until I like how it sounds.

  • Who would you like to collaborate with the most?
  • Beyoncé

  • Q: How would you describe the music that you typically create?
  • A: The music I create is all original, positive, and different. My music is my own vibe, it’s what’s inside of me.

  • Q: What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?
  • A: It’s about how creative you can be to show how unique you are. I like how there are different forms of music to choose from. I love the fact that I can share apart of myself with the listener.

  • Q: Who inspired you to make music?
  • A: I was inspired by artist like Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Rihanna, and Ariana Grande. I’m a young girl and I hope to reach the level of success they have reached with my music one day.

  • Q: Which famous stars do you admire and why?
  • A: Lady Gaga, Muni Long, and Haley & Chloe. It’s because they have their own creative style in music and I like how they just do them unapologetically.

  • Q: Where have you performed?
  • I performed at the Coast to Coast Live Showcase in Atlanta, GA on Nov 28, 2021. I won 1st place out of 28 contestants. This was actually my very first performance. Winning and being the youngest contestant there was the thing that made my parents say let’s record an album.
  • I donated some of my time to perform for the elderly community in Bude, Mississippi for the Missionary Shine Project on April 15, 2022.
  • I performed at the R&B Passion competition hosted by Terror Dome Entertanment Oct 17, 2022 in Atlanta, GA. I won first place and a cash prize at this event.

  • Q: What is your favorite song to perform and why?
  • A: Face It is my favorite song to perform, because it makes the listener regain hope and begin the inner work we all have to do in order to become our greater selves. We need positive music to inspire everyone and Face It is just that.

  • Q: What is one message you would give to your fans?
  • A: Be who you want to be. Use your gifts, showcase your talents, face your fears, prove them wrong, believe in yourself, and never stop believing. Aim for the stars. I thank you for supporting me early on in my career, you get to see me grow and evolve. I love you and I couldn’t make my dreams come true without you.

  • Q: Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?
  • A: I like bright lights, and city lights. I like when it’s so shiny cause it makes me feel like I’m in a dream land. I like seeing building structures. I would also like to be a architect one day and design abstract buildings and homes while creating music at the same time.

  • Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given?
  • A: My granddad Ronald Manning told me to always sing like it’s your last day on earth.

  • Q: If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
  • A: Beyoncé

  • Q: If you could change anything about the music industry, what would it be?
  • A: I don’t like all the toxic and negative energy we’re getting in this world. I want to change that. I want it all out and I want to sow seeds of love, togetherness, inclusion of everyone, peace, and compassion with my messages. It’s time to change the narrative, and we have to be willing to take the road less traveled. We have to be willing to go against the norm. We have one life to live and we can’t take anything with us, so let’s leave behind positivity and goodness for the next generation to grow and be better.
